Overview
- Seven Six Flags parks will host new movie-licensed haunted mazes featuring The Strangers, The Conjuring Universe, Saw, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, Trick ’r Treat, Army of the Dead and Mexico-exclusive No Me Sigas.
- Six Flags Fiesta Texas confirmed Fright Fest will run select nights from September 6 through November 2 while Magic Mountain scheduled select nights from September 19 to November 2 and other parks set varying fall dates.
- Access to nighttime haunted mazes requires a separate Haunted Attractions Pass with tickets going on sale starting August 12 and optional Express upgrades offering priority entry.
- Parks are adding original scare attractions and interactive features, including Magic Mountain’s new Carnage maze, Fiesta Texas’s collectible lanterns, expanded scare zones and monster-themed live shows.
- The expansion reflects Six Flags’ post-merger strategy to deepen horror-IP licensing with studios such as Warner/New Line, Lionsgate, Blumhouse and Netflix in a bid to compete with rival Halloween events.
