Six Flags Great America Unveils Record-Breaking 'Wrath of Rakshasa' Coaster
The new ride will feature the world's steepest drop and most inversions on a dive coaster, opening in 2025.
- 'Wrath of Rakshasa' will have a 171-foot drop at a beyond-vertical 96 degrees.
- The coaster will include five inversions and reach speeds of 67 mph.
- It will be located in the County Fair section, near the existing Demon coaster.
- The ride is designed by Swiss firm Bolliger & Mabillard.
- Construction begins next month, with a planned opening next spring.
