Overview

  • Guests aged 15 and younger must be accompanied by an adult chaperone aged 21 or older to enter and remain in both Six Flags Great America and Hurricane Harbor Chicago.
  • One chaperone may supervise no more than 10 minors and must present a valid government-issued photo ID with birth date at ticket entry.
  • The policy will run all day from July 17 through July 20, then apply daily from 5 p.m. until park closing thereafter.
  • Chaperones are required to stay inside the park for the entire visit and remain reachable by phone at all times.
  • Six Flags has cited recurring unruly behavior in past seasons and reinstated the measure one week after shots were fired in the park’s parking lot.
