Overview
- Coordinated raids on Oct. 30 hit homes and vehicles in West Islip, Bay Shore, Wyandanch, Lindenhurst and the Bronx after an investigation led by the Suffolk County DA’s East End Drug Task Force with the DEA, NYPD and local police.
- Authorities reported seizing about four kilograms of fentanyl, five kilograms of heroin, nearly two kilograms of cocaine and roughly 2,000 fentanyl‑laced pills, plus three pistols, a rifle, a shotgun and seven high‑capacity magazines including three 50‑round drums.
- The six defendants — John Collado, Anthony Dominguez, Michael Torres, David Priest, Luiggi Peralta and Yergenis Paulino — were arraigned Oct. 31 in Central Islip and pleaded not guilty.
- Prosecutors said undercover buys from April through October netted 7,400 counterfeit oxycodone pills and nearly three kilograms of cocaine across 13 transactions.
- Officials said the fentanyl seized represents a lethal dose for Suffolk County’s 1.5 million residents, and the DEA said it believes the supply ties back to Mexican cartels.
