Overview
- A disturbance involving a large group broke out at Pier Approach near Bournemouth Beach on June 30 at around 7:29 pm.
- A teenage girl was taken to hospital with injuries and two officers suffered non-serious wounds while responding to the incident.
- Six suspects were arrested following fast-paced enquiries, including one man on suspicion of assaulting an emergency worker and five on suspicion of affray.
- A separate altercation in the Lower Gardens the same evening led to the arrest of four women aged 16 to 35 on suspicion of affray.
- Dorset Police has issued a dispersal order covering the seafront and Lower Gardens, bolstered patrol presence and urged anyone with relevant footage to come forward.
