Overview
- On October 9, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and her family performed the aarti of Lord Ram Lalla and conducted Rudrabhishek at Kuber Tila in the Ram Janmabhoomi complex.
- A day earlier, Sitharaman and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath unveiled statues of Tyagaraja Swamigal, Purandara Dasa, and Arunachala Kavi at Brihaspati Kund in Ayodhya.
- Chief Minister Yogi announced that the four main Ram Temple gates will be named after Jagadguru Shankaracharya, Jagadguru Madhvacharya, Jagadguru Ramanujacharya, and Jagadguru Ramanandacharya.
