Overview
- Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma launched the Amrit Kalash Yatra in Guwahati, reporting 540 kalash collected with half sent to Delhi and half retained for local ceremonies.
- Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is scheduled to lay the foundation stone for the Swahid Kanaklata Baruah greenfield university at Gohpur on November 8.
