SiteMinder Launches AI Engine and UltraSync After Survey Points to Revenue Upside From Faster Integration

SiteMinder pairs the findings with launches built to speed decisions directly into property management workflows.

Overview

  • An August survey of 700 hoteliers across the US, France, Spain, Mexico, Indonesia and Australia found 65% believe faster, fully integrated systems could unlock at least 6% more annual revenue, which SiteMinder says could translate to billions across the sector.
  • Speed-to-market is surging in importance, with 93% saying it has grown over the past year, 58% calling it business critical and 45% reporting missed revenue because they cannot act fast enough.
  • Manual processes remain widespread, as 36% of hotels update pricing monthly or less and 79% spend more than 11 hours per week on tasks that could be automated.
  • AI interest is rising, with 49% actively seeking AI solutions and 43% open to AI-driven recommendations, underscoring the industry’s readiness for automation and data-driven decisions.
  • At its Sync event in Sydney, SiteMinder unveiled SiteMinder iQ and introduced UltraSync with inaugural PMS partners Cloudbeds, Mews, Oracle and RMS to enable real-time, two-way updates between its platform and property systems, leveraging company-reported data flows of roughly 130 million bookings across 260 million room nights annually.
