Overview
- Bhagirath Bhatt posted on Friday that he is not joining Bigg Boss 20 and asked fans to stop asking about his participation.
- He said he does not see himself as suited to the show because he is "not someone who can shout or create unnecessary noise" and called himself a believer in calm music.
- Bhatt is a trained sitarist from Jamnagar with film and streaming credits on projects such as Padmaavat, Bandish Bandits and Heeramandi, which made the casting rumours notable.
- Bigg Boss 20 is scheduled to premiere on September 6, 2026 on Colors TV and stream on JioHotstar, and the show’s makers had not officially confirmed Bhatt before his public denial.
- His refusal narrows the speculative contestant lists circulating in entertainment coverage and underscores how artists now use verified social posts to confirm or deny casting stories.
