Sir Lenny Henry to Host Comic Relief for Final Time

Co-founder of the charity, Henry will step down after nearly 40 years, but will continue as life president.

Sir Lenny Henry, co-founder of Comic Relief, will host the charity telethon for the final time in March 2024.
Comic Relief, which Henry co-founded in 1985, has raised over £1.5 billion to tackle poverty and provide food, healthcare, and safe shelter globally.
A comedy night at the London Palladium on February 26 will precede the main event, featuring comedians such as Aisling Bea, Fatiha El-Ghorri, Joel Dommett, Mawaan Rizwan, Rosie Jones, and Sara Pascoe.
Despite stepping down as host, Henry will continue his involvement with the charity as its life president.
Lisa Makin, a high-profile theatre producer and casting director, has been in a relationship with Lenny Henry since 2011.
