Singer-songwriter and producer August 08 dies at 31

August 08 was a Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and producer who collaborated with artists like DJ Khaled, Justin Bieber and Jhené Aiko.
He was part of the music collective 88rising and released several EPs as well as a debut solo album "FATHER" in 2018.
His family and record labels Def Jam and 88rising confirmed his passing but did not disclose the cause of death.
August 08 recently released the single "Bruises" in June 2022 and the album "Seasick" in August 2022 featuring collaborations.
He was remembered by friends, fans and colleagues for his musical talents and mentorship.
