• Law Minister Edwin Tong said IMDA requested no edits and had no communications with Sammy Obeid about a script.
• IMDA published a timeline showing a July 8 inquiry, an Aug 15 application at 11:57pm, a rejection on Aug 19, an appeal on Aug 20, and a final rejection on Aug 25.
• The application was filed 10 working days before the planned Aug 31 shows at Victoria Theatre, far short of the 40-working-day requirement.
• IMDA said the local agent reported having emails and recordings that she repeatedly warned the filing was late and that no edits were sought, and that she has been unable to reach Obeid since his Aug 27 post.
• Obeid continues to allege he was told to remove mentions of Palestine and Israel and has offered Singapore ticket-holders transfers to other dates on his Asia tour.
