• Nur Aisyah Binte MD Akbar, a 39-year-old tourist from Singapore, fell approximately 70 feet off a cliff at Minnewaska State Park in New York while taking photos with her husband, Abdul Rauf Bin Mohd Said.
• The incident occurred on the Beacon Hill Trail, where the couple had stopped to take pictures at the edge of the cliff.
• Akbar's husband called 911 after the fall, and she was hoisted to safety by a state police helicopter.
• She was transported to Ellenville Regional Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
• The incident is still under investigation by the New York State Police.
