- The committee spans industry, academia, unions and government to ensure AV integration enhances safety, creates jobs and boosts connectivity.
- Four workgroups have been set up to plan near-term deployments, develop regulatory and liability frameworks, support workforce transitions and oversee technology and safety standards.
- Ongoing pilot services include Grab’s One-North shuttle, WeRide’s unmanned bus at Sentosa and Moovita’s three safety-operator buses across fixed routes.
- The first fixed-route AV shuttle service in Punggol remains on schedule for launch in Q4 2025 with onboard safety officers during its initial phase.
