- Parliament’s Clerk announced nine nominees selected to join the Nominated Member of Parliament scheme to broaden non-elected perspectives in debates.

- Mark Lee, CEO of Sing Lun Holdings, will return for a second term after serving from 2023 to 2025.
- The Special Select Committee, chaired by Speaker Seah Kian Peng, reviewed 57 public and group submissions received from Oct 8 to Nov 6, describing a strong pool of candidates.
- The cohort spans business, academia, healthcare, law and unions, with the formal Instruments of Appointment to be presented at the Istana on Jan 8 and swearing-in set for Jan 12.
