Overview

  • Leaders’ Retreat on June 16 yielded 19 commitments spanning renewable energy, sustainable development, defense collaboration, airspace management and law enforcement cooperation
  • On June 13 the two governments signed MOUs establishing cross-border electricity trade, carbon capture and storage schemes and a sustainable industrial zone
  • Defense and flight information region agreements that took effect in 2024 have enabled joint military training and deployment of Indonesian personnel at the Civil Aviation Authority Singapore
  • Connectivity measures include the launch of Singapore–Padang and SingaporeKertajati flights, a food safety and agritech cooperation pact and youth internship programmes
  • Lawrence Wong and Prabowo Subianto voiced deep concern over the Gaza crisis and escalating Israel-Iran tensions, urging an immediate ceasefire
