Sindh Reports 999 New Dengue Cases in a Day as Hyderabad Positivity Eases

Overview

  • Sindh conducted 5,150 dengue tests in the latest 24 hours with 999 positives, including 535 in Karachi Division and 464 in Hyderabad Division.
  • Hospitals recorded 105 new admissions in government facilities and 87 in private ones, with 218 discharges and no dengue deaths reported in the period.
  • The province counts 6,199 cases this month and 11,763 year-to-date, with 226 patients in public hospitals and 203 in private care.
  • Capacity includes 983 beds in public hospitals and 475 in private facilities, supported by a 56-lab testing network across Sindh.
  • Rawalpindi logged 30 new cases to reach 1,466 this year with no deaths, alongside large-scale surveillance and enforcement that checked 6.36 million houses, sealed 1,927 properties, issued 3,700 challans and collected Rs11.39 million in fines.
