Overview

• On September 14 in Dautillos, Navolato, forces detained four armed civilians and seized an unplated Jeep, rifles and pistols, 35 magazines, 783 cartridges, tactical gear and more than 3,000 doses of suspected methamphetamine, marijuana and cocaine.
• All items secured in the Navolato action were turned over to the Federal Public Ministry to initiate investigations.
• In Culiacán, patrols located components used to make improvised explosive devices along with military-style clothing and tactical gear, which naval personnel destroyed on site as a preventive measure.
• The explosive-related cache in Culiacán included boxed supplies and counted parts such as fins, PVC fuzes, metal and PVC couplings, tapes with nails, plugs and adhesive containers.
• In San Ignacio, naval personnel repelled an attack during patrols, then found and dismantled a warehouse used as a criminal camp, which was secured and destroyed.
