Sinaloa Inaugurates Rebuilt COBAES 37 Campus in Mazatlán After 18.6 Million-Peso Investment

The project underscores a broader effort to curb dropout through upgraded facilities alongside Benito Juárez scholarships.

  • Governor Rubén Rocha Moya opened the 2025–2026 school year at Plantel 37 “Genaro Estrada Félix” and inaugurated the rehabilitated campus in Mazatlán.
  • More than 18.6 million pesos delivered four classrooms, administrative offices, a computer center, a library, an upgraded science lab, a metal canopy, air conditioning, an electrical substation, and a renewed civic plaza.
  • COBAES reported that the upgraded facilities will benefit roughly 550 students at the site.
  • The state infrastructure agency ISIFE carried out the works during 2022–2024 as part of an ongoing education buildout.
