Simu Liu, the 34-year-old Marvel and 'Barbie' star, has withdrawn from narrating Disney World's 2023 Candlelight Processional due to unspecified 'health scares'.
Liu was set to narrate the event from Nov. 30 through Dec. 2, but was replaced by singer-songwriter Bart Millard.
The actor did not provide details about his 'health scares', but he had previously shared on Instagram that he tore his Achilles tendon in October.
Despite his withdrawal, Liu expressed optimism for his future participation in the event, hinting at a possible return in 2024.
The Candlelight Processional, which runs from Nov. 24 to Dec. 30, features celebrity narrators telling the story of Christmas at Epcot.
