Sims 4's forthcoming 'For Rent' expansion offers players the novel experience of acting as landlords, managing rental properties and dealing with tenants' issues such as faulty utilities and unruly neighbors. The expansion is slated to launch on December 7.
The 'For Rent' expansion features a brand-new world called 'Tomarang', described as a scenic tropical locale with residential rentals, a vibrant city skyline, a night market, botanical gardens, and an animal sanctuary.
Players who purchase the 'For Rent' expansion before January 18 will receive the 'Street Eats' pack as a free bonus, enabling them to set up a night market-like stall on their property with a grill cart, street umbrella, and fruit basket.
The 'For Rent' expansion introduces a heightened level of realism by including challenges like property maintenance and potential tenant revolts. Sims can now experience eviction anxiety if they misbehave, adding a new layer to the simulation.
