Overview
- Simple launched the refreshed Simple One and OneS along with the new Simple One Ultra, which the company claims delivers a 400km IDC range from a 6.5kWh battery.
- Ex-showroom Bangalore prices are Rs 1.40 lakh for the OneS, Rs 1.70 lakh for the One (4.5kWh) and Rs 1.78 lakh for the One (5kWh), while Ultra pricing was not announced.
- Gen 2 brings a lighter, denser battery pack, strengthened chassis joints, reinforced battery crash zones, retuned suspension and a higher 115kph top speed with 0–40kph in 2.55s on the 5kWh One.
- SimpleOS adds EcoX and SonicX ride modes, four traction settings, four levels of regen, two levels of cruise control, plus safety features such as hill-hold, fall cut-off and emergency brake lights.
- The company is offering lifetime warranty on Gen 2 scooters and lifetime motor and battery coverage across its portfolio, while targeting roughly 150 dealerships and 200 service centres by March 2026, EBITDA positivity before end-FY26, IPO preparation in Q2–Q3 2027 and topline of about Rs 250 crore this fiscal.
