• Met Police said Levy, 40, of Beaufoy Road, Tottenham, faces counts of murder, grievous bodily harm with intent, intentional strangulation and two rapes.
• The charges relate to the death of Sheryl Wilkins, 39, and allegations involving a second victim who cannot be identified at this stage.
• Levy is due to appear at Highbury Magistrates' Court on Monday.
• Wilkins was found unresponsive on High Road, Tottenham, at about 7.30am on 24 August and an initial post-mortem later proved inconclusive.
