SilverStone's Retro PC Case Moves from Joke to Reality

Initially an April Fools' prank, the beige FLP01 case is set to launch in Japan in early 2025.

The SilverStone FLP01 case, inspired by 1980s and 1990s PC designs, will be released in Japan for approximately $130.
Originally introduced as an April Fools' joke, the case features faux floppy disk cutouts and a design reminiscent of the NEC PC-9800 series.
The case includes modern hardware compatibility, supporting components like the Intel Core Ultra 7 265K CPU and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 Ti GPU.
SilverStone showcased the case at its Japan Expo, highlighting its capacity for full-sized ATX motherboards and multiple cooling options.
While its availability outside Japan remains uncertain, there is hope among enthusiasts for a global release.
