Overview

• Silver's Deli in Bramley, Leeds was chosen at the September 23 London ceremony from more than 130 nominees for the top honour and £100,000 prize.
• Founder Chris Riley-Smith, who opened the deli in 2023 and named it after his daughter, plans to use the award to refurbish the site, refine operations and grow sales.
• Twelve regional finalists each received £5,000 alongside tailored support in the fourth year of the awards.
• Trailblazer winners were Laura's Pizzas (Women in Food), The Hogless Roast (Climate Impact), Eat Clean (Healthy Eats), Piatto (Social Impact) and Aros (Next Gen).
• Judges and partners including Matthew Price, Levi Roots, Clodagh McKenna, Natty Crutchfield, Eating with Todd and Lorraine Copes lauded Silver's for big flavours and community commitment, with the deli known for stacked salt beef sandwiches.
