• Keeping the affliction active enables access to a hidden Act 2 ending, whereas cleansing it locks that route.
• Yarnaby’s Infestation Operation removes the curse and awards the Witch’s Crest, with steel spines bought from Crull and Benjin for 260 rosaries or looted from their bodies in Act 3 if they have died.
