Sigur Rós Releases First Album in 10 Years, 'Átta,' to Tour with Orchestra

Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós released their first studio album in 10 years on June 16, called 'Átta.'
The album was written during the pandemic and war in Ukraine but has moments of light amid darkness.
Multi-instrumentalist Kjartan Sveinsson rejoined the band for the recording of 'Átta.'
The album features choral and orchestral collaborators, including the London Contemporary Orchestra.
Sigur Rós will tour this summer with a 41-piece orchestra to perform the new album.
