  • RE 7 terminates at Neuss, RE 10 runs only to Kempen with bus transfer to Neuss, and RE 42 is diverted between Krefeld-Uerdingen and Mönchengladbach without stops.
  • RB 33 is suspended with replacement buses covering all stops between Mönchengladbach, Duisburg, Herzogenrath and Heinsberg, and RB 37 is canceled.
  • DB Regio technicians have identified a technical fault and are working to restore operations with the goal of finishing repairs by the afternoon.
  • Long-distance passenger traffic and international freight continue unaffected, and travelers are advised to verify itineraries shortly before departure.
