Overview

  • The new Sierrapando–Barreda branch opened on July 21 after seven years and €160 million of work, eliminating the historic A-8/A-67 knot at Torrelavega.
  • Traffic has now backed up at the A-67 exit toward Polanco in Barreda, where drivers faced slow movement on Friday and Saturday.
  • DGT data recorded about 6 km of queues on the A-3 between kilometre 328 in Chiva and kilometre 334 in Cheste.
  • The A-7 bypass saw roughly 5 km of tailbacks in each direction between Loriguilla and both Manises and Torrent.
  • A non-injury lorry crash on the AP-7 near Castellón de la Plana blocked the right lane and added around 4 km of delays, contributing to a combined 20 km of congestion by early afternoon.
