• National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited chose a consortium led by DRA Infracon, Siemens Limited and Siemens Mobility GmbH to equip the Mumbai-Ahmedabad line with advanced signalling and telecom systems.
• The ₹4,100 crore order allocates ₹1,230 crore to Siemens Limited for the design and installation of the signalling and telecommunications equipment.
• Project execution is set to span 54 months with Siemens responsible for 15 years of maintenance services to ensure lifecycle reliability.
• European Train Control System Level 2 will deliver continuous wireless communication and real-time train supervision enabling speeds up to 350 km/h.
