Siddhivinayak Temple Opens at 3:15 a.m. for New Year’s Darshan as Special Pujas Are Suspended

The trust is deploying a detailed timetable, dedicated queues and free feeder buses to manage an expected 300,000–400,000 visitors.

Overview

  • Darshan on January 1 follows a special schedule with rituals 5:30–6:00 a.m., continuous access until noon, resuming 12:30 p.m., brief evening pauses at 7:00–7:10 p.m. and 7:30–8:00 p.m., and closing at 11:30 p.m.
  • All special pujas are suspended for the day to prioritize uninterrupted walk-in darshan and crowd flow.
  • Access measures include dedicated queues for women, senior citizens, parents with infants, persons with disabilities and pregnant women, along with LED screens, a medical post and free tea and milk.
  • Transport arrangements feature a free feeder bus from Dadar railway station and an advisory to use the nearby metro, with free footwear storage counters available throughout the day.
