  • Under rigorous questioning, Sangeeta admitted to a five-year affair with 27-year-old Anil Shukla and confessed to plotting the murder to remove her husband.
  • Both suspects were arrested on June 11 by Siddharthnagar police, charged with abduction and murder, and remanded in jail pending trial.
