Overview
- Kekilli posted a single-word caption — "Mrs." — with a photo of herself in a white dress and veil, signaling her marriage.
- Star hairdresser Jörg Oppermann posted an Instagram Story showing Kekilli and an unnamed man cutting a multi-tier wedding cake, which served as corroboration.
- The images first appeared on Saturday, May 23, 2026, and were reported by German outlets the next day alongside messages of congratulations.
- Kekilli has not disclosed her husband's name or ceremony details, consistent with her long-standing practice of keeping private matters out of the public eye.
- The announcement drew attention because Kekilli is a high-profile, award-winning German actress known for 'Gegen die Wand', two Deutscher Filmpreis wins, her years on 'Tatort', and a role on 'Game of Thrones'.
