Overview
- Organizers confirmed the Huntington Beach show will run Oct. 3–5, with daily flying roughly 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. south of the pier.
- About half the scheduled performers were lost to the grounding, including the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds and jets such as the F-35, F-22 and A-10.
- The program now centers on non‑U.S. teams and civilian displays, featuring the Canadian Forces Snowbirds, RAF Falcons, an aerobatic helicopter, and WWII bombers including B-29 “Doc” and a B-25.
- New community outreach includes free Friday admission for more than 5,500 students and an on-site NXTGN STEM LAB with hands-on exhibits.
- The event moves forward under a newly approved up-to-25-year hosting deal with the city and a five-year Coastal Commission permit that carries 21 mitigation conditions.
