Overview
- The makers officially released the 2-minute-plus teaser on Tuesday, June 23, giving the first digital look after an initial theatrical premiere and earlier leaks.
- The clip recreates a famed episode from Vithabai Narayangaonkar’s life in which the performer goes into labour backstage and then returns to the stage to perform, a moment the teaser uses to underline the character’s dedication to Tamasha and Lavani.
- Viewers and critics widely praised the film’s cinematography, Ajay–Atul’s music and Shraddha Kapoor’s physical transformation while some reactions questioned her dialogue delivery.
- Eetha is directed by Laxman Utekar, produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, features Randeep Hooda, Nana Patekar and Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and highlights intensive dance preparation and location shooting across Maharashtra.
- The film is scheduled to release in theatres on August 28, 2026, and its late‑August timing places it in direct competition with other major releases which could shape its box‑office performance and marketing run-up.
