• Shraddha Kapoor met Dinesh Vijan and Laxman Uttekar at Maddock Films’ Mumbai office on May 26 to discuss the project
• The untitled film is based on a Marathi novel and will see her portray a Maharashtrian character
• Talks remain in early stages although Kapoor has principally agreed to the script pitched by the duo
• Producer Dinesh Vijan has delivered two Rs500 crore hits and is intent on expanding his horror-comedy franchise
• Vijan and Uttekar are also working on Thama for Diwali 2025 and a three-hero project slated for 2026/27
