• Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished a blaze in a white Genesis on Stuart Street in Burwood minutes after the shooting, with detectives believing it served as the attackers’ getaway vehicle.
• Detectives from Strike Force Arrino and Taskforce Falcon have linked the shooting and car fire to an organised-crime campaign targeting alleged bikie affiliates.
• Investigators are reviewing CCTV footage to identify at least two suspects seen near the vehicle before and after the blaze.
