Overview

• Police say two males were pronounced dead and a third person was wounded after a 7:40 p.m. Sept. 20 shooting in the 5100 block of Carmichael Road.
• At about 2:11 a.m. Sept. 21, two women arrived at a local hospital with stab wounds tied to the 3200 block of Raintree Drive; one later died and the other sustained non-life-threatening injuries.
• Montgomery police are treating the Carmichael Road incident as a death investigation, with no arrests announced as both cases remain under review.
• Mayor Steven Reed issued a plea for nonviolence, promising accountability for those responsible and support for victims’ families.
