Shooter Released Under Stand Your Ground After Fatal Seminole County Road-Rage Clash

- Deputies responded around 1 a.m. to the 1700 block of Rutledge Road in unincorporated Longwood after reports of a shooting.
- The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office said two armed drivers were involved in an altercation in which one fired into the other vehicle, causing a crash and a death at the scene.
- According to the sheriff’s office, the victim pointed a gun at the other man before he was shot.
- The shooter called 911, stayed at the scene, cooperated with deputies, and was released after questioning under Florida’s Stand Your Ground law.
