Decoy first gained attention when Ohtani appeared with him during the virtual MVP awards ceremony last fall.
Ohtani, who recently signed a record-breaking 10-year contract with the Los Angeles Dodgers, had kept his dog's name a secret until his contract signing.
This is the second meeting between Ohtani and Emanuel, the first being in March 2023.
