  • Ohtani allowed five earned runs on nine hits over four innings in his 10th start since returning to the mound after 2024 elbow surgery.
  • A 93 mph liner from Orlando Arcia struck his right thigh, which manager Dave Roberts said avoided the kneecap.
  • He finished the fourth inning, doubled and walked to extend his on-base streak to 18 games, then was replaced with Alex Call pinch-hitting in the eighth.
