- The project will feature a 16-story building with a bus stand on the ground floor, parking on the first two floors, and retail and commercial spaces in a semi-basement and upper levels.
- The redevelopment will be executed under a public-private partnership (PPP) model with a 99-year lease to attract developers and optimize investment.
- Maha-Metro and MSRTC will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) next week to formalize collaboration on the project, which is expected to cost between Rs 250 crore and Rs 300 crore.
- Officials aim to hold the groundbreaking ceremony on May 1, with plans to replicate a similar integrated transport hub model at Swargate to enhance Pune's transport infrastructure.
