Overview

• A government order issued on September 26 by Chief Secretary K. Ramakrishna Rao was formally handed to B. Shivadhar Reddy by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy, the CMO said.
• Shivadhar Reddy is posted as DGP (Coordination) and holds full additional charge of DGP (Head of Police Force) until further orders, succeeding Dr. Jitender, who retires on September 30.
• V. C. Sajjanar has been appointed Hyderabad Police Commissioner, with C. V. Anand transferred as Special Chief Secretary to Government, Home Department.
• Charu Sinha has been given full additional charge as Director General, Anti-Corruption Bureau, while Vijay Kumar moves to Additional Director General of Police, Intelligence, and Shikha Goel becomes Director General, Vigilance & Enforcement.
• A former Telangana intelligence chief, Shivadhar Reddy brings extensive field, intelligence and UN service and is a recipient of the Police Medal for Gallantry and the President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service.
