Overview
- A flotilla on the Delaware River on Oct. 9 opened the commemoration, featuring USS Arlington, USS Lassen, USS Cooperstown and USS Billings with accompanying Navy and Marine Corps flyovers.
- Public tours run Oct. 9–16 at Penn’s Landing and the Camden Waterfront, including access to Battleship New Jersey, cruiser Olympia, submarine Becuna and a replica of Washington’s Crossing boat.
- Daily flyovers are scheduled for Oct. 11–13 at 10 a.m., noon and 2 p.m., alongside workforce and industry showcases at the Innovation Pavilion in Philadelphia.
- The Oct. 12 program includes a veterans and community picnic at Independence Mall and an evening Victory at Sea concert with Patti LaBelle and remarks by actor and retired Marine Rob Riggle.
- A downtown parade on Oct. 13 concludes at Independence Hall with a Blue Angels flyover and evening fireworks, with ships set to depart area ports on Oct. 16; organizers have not announced any shutdown-related curtailments.
