- Former MNS corporators Rajan Marathe and Jyoti Marathe joined the Shinde-led party at a Thane ceremony attended by Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and MP Dr. Shrikant Shinde.
- Former NCP (Sharad Pawar faction) corporator Babaji Patil also entered Shiv Sena at the event alongside local leaders from Kalyan-Dombivli and Thane.
- The party said hundreds of office-bearers and workers shifted over, including MNS deputy city president Kishor Koshimbkar and several functionaries.
- On the same day, MNS removed Vaibhav Khedekar, Avinash Soundalkar, Santosh Nalawade and Subodh Jadhav for alleged anti-party activity on orders from Raj Thackeray.
- Khedekar called the ouster hasty, with PTI reporting he had planned to quit and met BJP leaders, while Shiv Sena (UBT) said it will not join the JPC on the Constitution (130th Amendment) Bill.
