- Several ministers from the Eknath Shinde-led Shiv Sena faction skipped Tuesday's cabinet meeting in Mumbai, with Shinde alone in attendance.
- Following talks with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, the BJP, Shinde Sena and Ajit Pawar-led NCP agreed to stop inducting each other’s leaders, MLAs, corporators and office-bearers.
- The protest followed the BJP enrolling multiple Shinde Sena figures, including Anmol and Ashwini Mhatre and youth leader Gajanan Joshi, as well as Advait Hire and Raju Khare who had contested against Sena ministers.
- Sena ministers also cited alleged imbalance in fund allocation and other administrative concerns, with Pratap Sarnaik describing the dispute as a temporary family disagreement.
- Fadnavis noted the Sena had previously inducted BJP leaders and said he would instruct his party accordingly, as Aaditya Thackeray criticized the boycott with local body elections set for December 2 and counting on December 3.
