Shillong Cherry Blossom Festival Confirms 2025 Dates, Star Lineup and Zubeen Garg Tribute

Organisers target record tourism with tickets now available online.

Overview

Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma announced the two-day festival for November 14–15 at Shillong’s Polo Grounds.
Headliners named include The Script, Jason Derulo, Diplo, Aqua, Nora Fatehi and Tyga.
A special tribute to the late Zubeen Garg will be led by Zublee, Priyanka, Prabin and Arupjyoti.
Events will run across Polo Ground, MFA Ground and JN Stadium with contests such as Mr and Ms Cherry Blossom, cosplay and arm-wrestling, plus local acts like Meba Ofilia, Dappest x adL, Girish and The Chronicles, Arius and others.
Tickets are available via BookMyShow and Shillong box offices, with officials projecting more than 50,000 overnight visitors.
