Shiba Inu Makes History in Charity Speedrun Event

Peanut Butter, a Shiba Inu, attempted a speedrun of the 1985 NES game Gyromite during the annual Awesome Games Done Quick event, becoming the first dog to participate in the event.
The dog was guided by his owner, a speedrunner known as JSR, using a custom-made controller with large colored buttons.
Peanut Butter completed the game in 26 minutes and 24 seconds, just short of his previous record of 25 minutes and 29 seconds.
The event, which was live-streamed, attracted over 77,000 viewers who cheered on Peanut Butter throughout the run.
Despite not setting a new record, Peanut Butter's participation was hailed as a milestone for the event, which raises money for various charities.
