Shia LaBeouf Penning Screenplay Set in Auschwitz, Says Director Abel Ferrara

Shia LaBeouf is writing a movie about Auschwitz, director Abel Ferrara announced.
LaBeouf and Ferrara recently worked together on the film "Padre Pio," LaBeouf's first major role since abuse allegations by his ex-girlfriend FKA Twigs.
LaBeouf's last screenwriting effort was the autobiographical film "Honey Boy."
Ferrara said he is considering directing the Auschwitz film with LaBeouf.
