Sheriff's Deputy and Motorist Swept Through Storm Drain, Survive Ordeal

A Florida sheriff's deputy and a motorist were sucked into a flooded storm drain during a downpour.
They were dragged underwater for around 30 seconds before emerging on the other side of a highway.
The deputy rushed to the motorist's aid without regard to his own safety.
The episode was recorded by the deputy's body camera.
Both the deputy and the motorist emerged unharmed and grateful for each other's help.
